Program Overview

YouthHope's mission is to "build confidence and promote self-sufficiency for homeless, runaway, and underserved youth by providing trust, hope, support, ad education. No one is a lost cause." YouthHope plays a unique roll in the community by serving as a gateway for underserved youth to access needed services. YouthHope provides services through the following four core programs:

-Continued Education and Job Training

-Medical and Counseling Services

-Food and Clothing Closet

-Housing

YouthHope believes that once basic life necessities are met, education is a primary means to assist youth to self-sufficiency. This is done by one-on-one tutoring by a GED tutor or re-enrollment into school. Once youth obtain their high school diploma or equivalent, Case Managers then provide options regarding higher education or vocational school opportunities.
