YOURpath for Adult Learners

Program Overview

YOURpath for Adult Learners is a nonprofit organization based in Pennsylvania, dedicated to providing tuition-free adult basic education services. We offer our students 24/7 access to online GED and HiSET preparation courses, covering all required subjects such as reading and writing, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Our comprehensive text-set curriculum ensures that students gain the essential content knowledge and literacy/numeracy skills needed to achieve their high school equivalency diploma through alternative state testing.

In addition to personalized online instruction, we provide a wealth of resources including academic skills building, supplemental and reinforcement materials, study guides, test-taking tools, tutoring, and instructional support/guidance. We also offer technology skills building through our online learning platforms and career coaching to help students advance their careers through higher learning or employment opportunities.

Our mission is to ensure that every student in our program achieves their high school equivalency diploma by acquiring the content knowledge, literacy, and numeracy skills needed to demonstrate high school proficiency and college readiness. We also strive to provide our students with access to resources for advanced learning and employment opportunities upon attaining their high school equivalency diploma.

My name is Daniela, and I have been out of school for seven years. Due to personal issues, I was unable to obtain my high school diploma. Now, at 23 years old, I am finally in a place where I can dedicate my full attention to my education. YOURpath for Adult Learners has changed my life in ways I never thought possible. Financially, I couldn't afford the testing fees, but YOURpath invested in my success and covered all my costs. Dr. Artis believed in me, and her faith pushed me to work even harder. Today, I am proud to say that I am a high school graduate. I now have the opportunity to enroll in college and have been accepted into Montgomery County Community College to pursue an associate's degree in criminal justice. My dream is to become a police officer and eventually a detective.

My name is Lasheena, and I am extremely grateful to have found YOURpath. It has truly changed my life, giving me hope and a brighter future to look forward to. After being out of school for 10 years, I knew returning would be a challenge. I especially want to thank Dr. Artis for being so hands-on, providing valuable feedback, and helping me learn to be more disciplined and responsible. Thanks to YOURpath, I now have my high school diploma and plan to pursue my passion for nursing. This journey has been incredible, and I couldn't have asked for a better program to support me. My name is Chasity, and I want to start by saying thank you, thank you, thank you for all your help in keeping me accountable and helping me reach my goal of earning my high school diploma! After being out of school for 22 years, I never thought this would be possible. I had been searching for an online program and came across YOURpath. I am so glad I clicked enroll that day! Since then, my life has become a dream come true. With the support of Dr. Artis, my coach Ms. Kristen, and the math tutoring from Mr. Qin and Mr. Ma, I achieved my high school diploma. Now, I am enrolled at Northeast Georgia Technical College to pursue my practical nursing diploma.
