Program Overview

York Adult and Community Education has been serving the Yorks and surrounding communities for over 25 years. Over these many years, thousands of people have enjoyed our academic, arts, exercise, job skills, computer, and parenting courses. Hundreds of students have completed their high school credential and have gone on to productive work or further education. All within the very small, very individualized classes we offer.

OUR MISSION: To provide afordable, accessible, quality, lifelong learning opportunities to equip community members with the tools necessary to pursue their academic, vocational and personal goals, contribute to the economic strength of the community, and participate as informed members of society.

Hours of operation: M/Th/F 8:00 am-4:00pm Tues/ Wed 8:00am- 9:00 pm

Cost info: There are no costs to attend classes for English language, reading, writing, or math skills courses, HiSET prep or college prep. There may be book fees, depending on the course.
