WHAT IS THE ORGANIZATION AIMING TO ACCOMPLISH?

The goal of Washmetv (Work and Save Human Minority Entrepreneurs Tomorrow's Vision) is to increase the entrepreneurial spirit; assist in employment opportunities in the community; assist the participants to retain, save and spend wisely the money earned and in doing so improve the quality of the workforce to sustain economic growth, enhance productivity and competitiveness, and reduce welfare dependency. We offer training and our programs promote successful job performance habits in order to remain productive citizens.

WHAT ARE THE ORGANIZATION'S KEY STRATEGIES FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN?

ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Our program encourages and teaches basic business principles and fundamentals in starting a business. By the end of the program, participants will understand marketing basics and best business practices in establishing their own business. They will understand what financiers are looking for and have the basic skills to research and develop their ideas and passions. Participants will have information and access to local and state resources for further skill development and training.
