Program Overview
Womenin Charge helps women in crisis take charge of their lives. Our mission is to heal the spirit, build confidence, and educate women so that they can provide a better life for themselves and their children. We specialize in serving women who have dropped out of high school and cannot succeed in standard literacy or job training programs because of underlying life challenges. We serve women at all levels of literacy, accepting women at such low levels that they would be lost in a standard adult literacy program.
