WLJT-DT is the Public Television Station for West Tennessee. We service 16 counties in West Tennessee by our partnerships with school systems, child care centers, boys and girls clubs, and head start programs in West Tennessee. We cover the topic of the whole child from ages birth to beyond high school promoting literacy, STEM, and mental and physical development.
WLJT's mission is to serve West Tennessee by providing a world of learning and discovery through quality programming, educational services, and online information that educates, inspires, and entertains. On the air, online, and in the community, WLJT uses media for good, delivering exceptional programs and services that expand knowledge, celebrate the world around us, and enrich lives.

WLJT provides educational services to school systems, head starts, child care centers, and boys and girls clubs in 16 counties in rural West Tennessee. More than 90 percent of our school systems are Title I schools, with income levels of households at or below poverty level.
