Program Overview
Welcoming the Stranger provides free classes in English, computer skills, and citizenship preparation to adult immigrants and refugees in Bucks County and Montgomery County PA, and Hunterdon County, PA and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Currently classes are offered in Bensalem, Doylestown, Hatboro, Harleysville, Langhorne, Levittown, Morrisville, Southampton, and Warminster, Pennsylvania, and Lambertville, NJ. Classes are offered to all students regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, or national origin. Welcoming the Stranger has served over 4,000 students from 104 different different countries since our inception in 1999. Visit our website's "Classes" page for this term's schedule.
Cost Info
Classes are free to all students. There is no cost. Students may join classes at any time (rolling admission and no attendance policy). Lessons are individualized to best serve each person's needs.Education services
