Program Overview

The Weatherford ISD Adult Education Cooperative provides free English language, math, reading, and writing instruction to help adults acquire the skills needed to succeed in the workforce, earn a high school equivalency, and perhaps enter college or career training. Participants in general adult education classes, may also be offered support for concurrent skills training through Weatherford College in such occupations as CNA, Welding, Industrial Maintenance, and Carpentry or an integrated Hospitality and Food Management program.

Program’s Demographics/Metrics

The program serves Parker, Palo Pinto and Wise Counties. Classes are located within some ISD facilities and Weatherford College campuses in each county.
