For over 20 years, We Will Go has operated in downtown Jackson, serving the needs of our neighbors. Located on Farish Street, We Will Go has a food pantry that feeds an average of 950 families per month, an afterschool program that engages with 50+ students per semester, and a summer camp that has 100+ students register and attend.
Using the S.P.I.R.E. literacy curriculum, our 2024 year-end assessment showed a 11% increase in reading comprehension scores for students enrolled in the afterschool and summer learning programs between able Mississippians and our underserved community.
