Program Overview
WAY Christian Academy, Polka-dot Ministries is located in central downtown Newark at 45 Academy Street, 2nd floor in suite 200. We provide (family) literacy sessions for adults and teens, homework help and tutoring for children in all subjects. We help with GED preparation and computer literacy. We provide ESL classes for people needing to learn English. Register online or come to our location to register in-person. Hours of operation are 8am-5pm, September-June. Tutoring and literacy classes are available for adults and teens on Saturdays 9am-2pm July and August. Academic day camp for children ages 4-14 available July-August.
Cost Info
ESL participants are responsible for purchasing learning materials such as workbooks or packages and a registration fee. Summer day camp is $200 weekly, but financial help and resources may be available.Student and Volunteer Success Stories
