Program Overview

We have five levels of English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. On our registration day students register and take an oral test to see which level is the best for them. Our teachers use Cambridge ESL books.

We keep the classes under 15 students, small and friendly. There are nine classes each term, three terms a year. Classes are held on Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm - 8:40 pm.

Our program was started 18 years ago and continues to help newcomers from other countries improve their English. Each term we have 50 - 60 students from about 22 different nations.

We are located four blocks from the Journal Square PATH station, between Bergen Ave. and Kennedy Blvd.
