Program Overview

The Vol State Adult Education Program serves who want to attain their high school equivalency diploma by taking the HiSET exam. The program also serves individuals who wish to learn English as a second language and/or desire to prepare for the citizenship exam in English. The Vol State Adult Education program is the only avenue in Sumner, Robertson, Trousdale, Macon, Smith, and Clay Counties endorsed by the State of Tennessee for individuals to take the required Official Practice Test. This program is open to any adult regardless of age, income, race, religion or event that may have caused them to need this service. Prospective clients should call the office at (615) 230-3621 to learn how to become a part of this program.
