Program Overview

Vincennes University - Adult Education offers free programming throughout SW Indiana. Most locations provide courses with teachers assisting students to progress toward and achieve their GED. Also, most locations offer courses to teach English Language Learners. Online versions of the courses are typically available as well throughout the state.

Students may also be eligible for general instruction toward improving academic performance toward gaining eligibilty for specialized training programs as may be offered by the state of Indiana.

Cost Info

Instruction is free except for specialized certifications which may have a fee. Nearly all programming is free. Sitting for the GED test may have a fee from the test provider that is not covered by the university or by the state of Indiana on occasion. (The state typically provides this funding, but the funding may all be used before the end of the year for example.)
