Program Overview
Through community-based workforce development and skills-building programs, health care interventions, social and recreational programs, advocacy and support services, Veteran's Palace aims to accomplish the following objectives:
1. To provide structured settings in which veterans who are homeless, living with service-related disabilities, or living in unsafe environments can obtain workforce training and certifications, medical and social therapies, recreational and educational activities, nutritional supervision, and the opportunity to engage in healthy peer group exchange.
2. To partner with local employers and trade schools to create sustainable pathways to employment and careers for homeless and vulnerable veterans.
3. To provide safe transitional housing and create pathways for home rental and home ownership for homeless and vulnerable veterans.
4. To provide the families and caregivers of veterans living with special needs respite from the responsibilities of constant supervision for their loved ones;
5. To cooperate with all agencies and professional groups who may be interested in the welfare of homeless and vulnerable veterans.
