Program Overview

Valley Settlement's mission is to listen to Latina families, and together create opportunities for early childhood and adult education, connection, and growth, so children and families can thrive. We offer six, two-generation programs focused on early childhood and adult education, leadership development, maternal mental health, and resource navigation.

Valley Settlement's Lifelong Learning Program is a free, bilingual adult education literacy program offering English as a Second Language (ESL), computer literacy, Spanish literacy, GED-preparation, and more. Classes are offered in the daytime and evening, in person and online. In-person classes happen in community rooms of libraries, schools, and churches in the communities of the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado. Free, on-site babysitting is provided during in-person classes so parents can participate fully.
