Program Overview

We offer free English classes for immigrants who need to learn how to speak English. Classes meet in the spring and the fall. We have classes for beginners, intermediate students, and advanced students. We also provide assistance for those struggling to read or write. All of our teachers are volunteers who desire to help people in the community. We have been offering English classes since 2012.

We meet on the lower level of Trinity Baptist Church. The door says "ESL".

Mission Statement

We share Christ's love with immigrants in our community by teaching them English, which improves their quality of life in our country.

Hours of operation: Tuesdays, 6-8 pm

Cost info: Classes are free. Books cost $20, but buying books is not required.

Program’s Demographics/Metrics

Most of our students are immigrants from Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America. We generally have around 20 students divided into three or four classes based on their English speaking ability. We test our students' progress every year to make sure they are in the appropriate class.
