Program Overview

We are Todos Juntos Learning Center because "Everybody Together" is the foundation for our future. Through our 2-Gen model, we work with children and parents simultaneously, building them up together, to create meaningful opportunities for the whole family. Family and community are at the core of who we are and why we exist. Because together more is possible, we partner with up to 50 different organizations each year to be a one-stop-shop for our students and their families.

At Todos Juntos Learning Center (TJ) we connect the disconnected and provide them a community of trust where they can build a network of support that is necessary to thrive in our community.

Many children, especially those in families whose primary language is not English, are academically disadvantaged before they even start school. At Todos Juntos Learning Center, we recognize that combatting achievement gaps requires targeting the variety of barriers English learning families face. Since 2009, Todos Juntos has used a three-pronged approach to support family education for Central Texas immigrants and refugees. We combine high-quality early childhood education (ECE), adult English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, culturally-responsive parenting along with health and wellness support. By providing simultaneous programming to adults and children, TJ offers families the opportunity to learn together, prioritize the whole family's education, and gain control over their future.

TJ understands that parents who feel confident and capable are best equipped to support their children which is why our family learning center provides a variety of resources that are tailored to our population. At TJ we support our students to live, learn, work, and engage with the central Texas community. By promoting a population of children who are school-ready and adults who are able to work, shop, and socialize; we help build a central Texas of self-sufficient families.
