Program Overview
The Write 2 Read - From A to Z is a free literacy program designed to bring grandparents, parents, authors, children and grandchildren together to read books written by authors of children's books, and engage in a recall and response conversation that allows every participant to have an opportunity to enhance their reading and writing skills, and eventually be invited to register for a one-on-one onsite and/or virtual/mobile academic tutorial assistance program entitled Excel Ahead, that will be housed on a 24
passenger bus. Parents and grandparents will be invited to participate in periodic educational excursions to local historical sites and places that their children are learning about in their Social Studies lessons. They will also qualify to participate in our S.T.E.A.M. Summer Camp Program. Those who complete the 9-week sessions will receive a certificate of achievement.

"My son made great progress this last session. Thanks!"
"Thank you for all your help Ms. Lillian! Gavin really enjoyed spending time with you and learning every week. I will send his report cards so you can see his improvement over the year. He will continue to grow!"
"Gavin has made big strides with his comprehension of multiple subjects. He is beginning to read chapter books and his math tests are steadily improving. Ms. Lillian does a great job of grabbing his attention when he loses focus and explaining concepts so he understands. Her interactions with him seem to challenge him and it's a nice change of pace from mom and dad :)"
