Program Overview

Our program allows children to reach their reading level goal within 90 days with a hands-on tutor. Our program also assists adults wanting to obtain their GED by assisting them through online instruction and education materials. All families will meet weekly to go over progress and be able to obtain a library card from their local library. The participants will engage in the Family Literacy monthly book club. You will be assisted by an instructor and tutor weekly. An assessment will be done monthly for reading level and preparation to take GED. Families can receive a stipend of up to $300 if they complete the program in 90 days.
