Program Overview
Root for Kids (previously known as The Learning Center for Families) is a non-profit organization located in Southern Utah that provides services for children and families in need of extra support. Since 1993, we have served over 20,000 families through Early Head Start, Early Intervention and Parents as Teachers home visiting programs in Washington County, Iron County, San Juan County and the Utah/Arizona border areas. We offer home-based and center-based supports for families seeking support to help their family and children under 5 years old, to thrive. We focus on topics such as health, safety, family relationships, being ready for school and for life!
Cost Info
Early Head Start and Parents as Teachers are free. For Early Intervention services in Utah, sliding scale fee is waived for families under 180% of Federal Poverty Guidelines or who have other extreme special circumstances.Education services
