Program Overview
The Read to Lead Academy at the Bethlehem Center is not just a place to improve reading skills—it's also a 21st Century Learning Center! This means we provide a well-rounded experience for K-8 students, offering more than just reading lessons. In addition to improving literacy, our program focuses on building critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital skills that are important for success in today's world. We use modern tools and creative activities to help students connect with what they are learning and apply it in real-life situations. Our academy is designed to prepare young people for a bright future by giving them the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. Located in Chattanooga, we welcome all students from Kindergarten through 8th grade to be part of this exciting learning opportunity!

"Before joining the Read to Lead Academy, I struggled with reading and felt nervous in class. But now, after just a few months, I can read books on my own and even help my little brother with his homework! The teachers are so supportive, and the lessons are fun. I love coming to the academy because I feel proud of what I've learned and excited to keep improving." 3rd Grade Student
"Volunteering at the Read to Lead Academy has been one of the most rewarding experiences I've had. Watching students grow in their confidence and abilities has been inspiring. I've seen how even just a little extra help can make a huge difference in a child's life. I'm proud to be part of this program and help children unlock their potential." — Claire , Volunteer Mentor
