Program Overview

They can attend day or evening classes, language lab computer class, and evening classes to better their literacy skills. Also, they may work one-on-one with a volunteer tutor trained by the program's director to enhance their classwork and to further practice their skills.

Hours of operation: 9 AM to 3 PM Mon. to Fri., Tues, Thurs evenings 6:00-8:30

Cost info: The costs of the Adult Literacy Program are associated with literacy materials: text books, workbooks and ancillary materials, fees for classroom usage for day and evening classes, salary for five teachers from September to end of May, and salary for director and office assistant to run and direct the program.
