Program Overview
The Education Corps (TEC) Saito High school is a free- public charter school for young adults (students 18 to 24 years old) seeking to obtain their high school diploma. Each campus is a small learning community with approximately 100-130 students. Class sizes are small (15-20 students per class) and have caring teachers that are willing to work with students to help them catch back up.
Since 1996, the Saito High School/South LA campus has been partnering with the Los Angeles Conservation Corps, which provides students with a variety of wrap-around services, such as paid job training in the field of conservation, counseling and case management. The campus is named after Bruce Saito, the longtime executive director of the Los Angeles Conservation Corps and current director of the California Conservation Corps.
