Tec Centro Capital Region

Program Overview

Tec Centro Capital Region provides dynamic, high-quality ESOL, High School Equivalency, Digital Literacy, and Professional English classes for learners of all levels. Our highly trained instructors and volunteers support students from the beginning of their journey and beyond. There is no cost to the learner.

All adult education classes are HyFlex: face-to-face and virtual simultaneously (except, for Digital Literacy classes), providing the flexibility students need to achieve their career and academic goals.

ESOL: English to Speakers of Other Languages (four hours a week tutoring for Beginners, and several two hour, twice weekly options, for Intermediate and Advanced learners).

Professional English I and II: English and communication classes for native, and non-native, English speakers who wish to improve their business grammar, writing, public speaking, and develop much-needed skills to advance in their careers or prepare for post-secondary education.

HSE: High School Equivalency (classes to help learners prepare for their HiSet exams).

Tutoring Program: We have a multilevel tutoring program for learners in every program, with regular, drop-in, and scheduled tutoring events.
