Program Overview

Tarrant Literacy Coalition supports Project BEST classes for high school equivalency instruction at the White Settlement ISD Family Resource Center two nights a week during the school year and one night a week each summer. TLC also offers a reading tutorial program called L.E.A.R.N. for Life, in which a trained volunteer works one-on-one with an adult learner that struggles with any aspect of reading, with the ultimate goal of transitioning into a workforce program. Lastly, the Adult Education and Literacy Call Center helps adults find a class near their home or work: call 817-402-7555 for more information about classes offered by Tarrant Literacy Coalition or one of its partners in Tarrant County or surrounding areas.
