Program Overview

The ESL Program prepares the student to learn English and improve speaking, reading and writing skills for those interested in learning English to get a better job or prepare to study in the college. The fast track Level I will prepare high beginners to enter the college's ESL Program, which starts at Level 2 through Bridge Level (college prep). The program serves 900 students per year.

The High School Equivalency Program serves 600 students from ages 18 and older annually. Emphasis is on covering all five academic subject areas based on the common core curriculum mandated by New York Ste Education Department. Students are urged to make a strong commitment to their studies and attend class four days per week each semester.

Cost Info

The ESL course cost is $15 plus $2 insurance fee. The GED course cost is $10 plus $2 insurance fee.
