Program Overview
Guys Read is a school based program that extends beyond the school day to encourage at risk boys to become life long readers. The program partners school age struggling readers with leaders and mentors in the community, it provides free reading materials for students and their families to be able to read together, and offers evening programming for parents and students to work together on learning to read, encouraging reading and comprehension skills for the whole family, and reaching out to ESL students and families.Education services
