Program Overview

Step By Step has been working to improve the lives of youth in Southern West Virginia for over twenty years by providing nutritional and educational programs in poverty-stricken areas. The Step By Step Family Library Program works with various sectors of a community in order to help improve literacy rates in high poverty communities. We provide free books to children, families, and teachers. We also offer supplemental educational support to teachers by the way of providing curriculum-based projects and materials.
