Program Overview

St. Joseph Services provides English as a Second Language (ESL), Computer Literacy, and Citizenship classes. The Adult Education Program at St. Joseph Services focuses on improving literacy skills through group and individualized instruction to help adults overcome some of the largest barriers to personal success and increased income. The ESL program helps students increase oral comprehension, communication skills, and reading ability. SJS uses a state of the art computer lab for Computer Literacy classes, which are offered in both English and Spanish. Citizenship classes provide instruction on U.S. history, advanced English (reading, writing, and conversation), and other topics covered on U.S. citizenship tests.

Mission Statement

Inspired by the vision of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Joseph Services educates youth and adults, developing values and talents though collaborations to strengthen communities.

Hours of operation: 9:00-6:00 pm
