Program Overview

Have you ever wanted to learn more? Here is your chance! At the Growing Grownups Project, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe environment. We offer classes such as:

ESL (English as Second Language) – With a growing population of Latinos in the community, this will provide the opportunity for those who do not speak English to learn to read, write, and speak English.

Employment Readiness – This Class focuses on building resumes, preparing for interviews, and other qualities needed to stand out as a candidate for employment.

Computer Literacy – This class will focus on understanding the most common office systems such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and multiple video meeting platforms.

Budget and Finance – This will cover basic accounting principles to help with economic stability, as well as basic math equations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.

Reading – This class is geared around creating additional skills to be stronger readers. To help process and understand what is being read.

Quick Kitchen Corner – This class focuses on preparing meals that takes an hour or less to complete.
