Program Overview
Speak into the Light Literacy program offers High School Equivalency preparation, the official High School Equivalency GED test, reading assignments, alone with financial literacy class, and professional development classes. What we offer are some tools adopted to increase the literacy level in our community. In this way, the people of the community will be able to utilize their available resources effectively and increase their standard of living, they will be more aware about their social set up, earnings and well-being of themselves, their family, and to the community as a whole.
Special tutorial or lectures using Audio-visual aids is an effective strategy for adults and children. A mini computer lab equipped with latest internet is set up in our facilities. A community member that wish to volunteer may be trained so that he/she could run the lab. This lab will be available all the time within our business hours for community members that's in our program.
In addition we are an official GED/High School EquivalencyTesting center thats open on weekends and evenings.
