The Socorro ISD Community Learning Center provides adult literacy education in the form of English and Spanish GED classes, citizenship instruction, English as a Second Language classes and technology classes. The program also sponsors Family Literacy classes at two elementary schools for parents and their 2-4 year old children. The majority of classes are held at the center from Monday through Friday. Off-site classes are also offered at schools throughout the district. All services are provided free of charge to our students. Students must attend a registration session, complete all registration steps and take a baseline assessment before being placed in a class.
