Program Overview
The Socorro ISD Community Learning Center provides adult literacy education in the form of English and Spanish GED classes, citizenship instruction, English as a Second Language classes and vocational certification classes, including Office Administration, Pharmacy Technician and Dental Assistant. The majority of classes are held at the center two nights a week Monday through Thursday as well as remotely online. Currently, all GED preparation classes are held remotely online. All services are provided free of charge to our students. Students must attend a registration session, complete all registration steps and take a baseline assessment before being placed in a class.
