Program Overview
Easterseals Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a program that provides job training and employment opportunities for eligible individuals age 55 and older.
We help you gain the skills, including reading, computer literacy, and job literacy skills, you need to find permanent employment so that you create economic independence and an improved life. You may face the same challenges as many older workers as you look for new employment. Some of these include learning new literacy and computer skills, stereotypes related to age, transportation, housing, work experience, disability, income, self-esteem, language, health, and job training. Easterseals SCSEP can help you rise above those obstacles by providing opportunities to enhance your existing skills, train for a new career, and find a rewarding job.
