Program Overview

Alliance for Nonprofit Resources offers a community self-advocacy program for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. The program also welcomes family members, caregivers, and support staff.

The program offers free classes that help people learn important life skills. Topics include understanding health information, managing money, using computers and phones, preparing for work, and speaking up for personal needs and choices.

Classes are open to the public. No referral or enrollment in services is required.

Participants gain skills to communicate more clearly, make informed decisions, and better manage everyday tasks like medical appointments, jobs, and technology. Caregivers and support teams also benefit by learning tools to better support independence and self-advocacy.
