Program Overview
We help provide adult education in 2 main formats.
1. Adult learning through our local technical college. Volunteers from their program come and tutor GED students at our facility. We are able to provide childcare so parents can spend their time learning. We are hoping to expand our educational area to include more computers and learning formats as well as additional seating.
2. We offer a weekly community dinner on Wednesdays at 6pm and this dinner has an education componet to it. These range from parents, literacy, financial literacy and home readiness subject.s
