Program Overview
RUTH YouthBuild is a supportive education and career pathway program designed for young people ready to take the next step. Located on Pierce Community College's campus, students work toward their high school diploma while also enrolling in college courses — earning credit and building a strong foundation for the future. YouthBuild offers leadership development, hands-on career training, academic support, and guidance to help students explore career options, gain skills, and transition into higher education or the workforce with confidence. RUTH YouthBuild is more than a program — it's a community that empowers young people ages 16 to 24 to learn, grow, and lead.
