Roberts Family Welcome Center

Program Overview

Roberts Family Welcome Center is the hub of the neighborhood as the community learning center for many in the East Price Hill area in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Welcome Center offers services to bolster family connections to the school and community, focusing on advancing the education and career for families. For those who desire to learn English as a Second Language, the free classes for adults are offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings (6:00-7:30 pm). There is NO childcare for these classes. The Welcome Center has partnered with staff from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College to offer professional instructors and curriculum for the classes.

A technology class is in the planning stage and more information will be available soon. This will be offered to those who are interested in learning the basics of keyboarding, software, how to send and receive email, how to use CPS' PowerSchool system, etc. Contact the program manager for more information.
