Program Overview
Adult Education at RVR is one of the leading programs in the state of Indiana. We lead the state in our measurable skills gains in both Adult Basic Education classes and our English Language Learner classes. AE offers a variety of classes and trainings in our counties in both Region 9 and 10. We have several trainings classes for students to utilizes as well as we are working on starting pre-apprenticeships with local unions. Our classes are often small and very personable for students' comfort. We focus on teaching students in the areas of reading, language, and math. One benefit of our AE program is students can earn both their diploma and an occupational certificate at the same time. We also provide our classes in several local correctional facilities in our area.
