Program Overview
Richmond County Partnership for Children offers multiple programs:
The Lending Library offers various books, learning equipment, materials and resources for free. Visitors can purchase different types of paper, bulletin board paper, and have items laminated for a small fee.
Dolly Parton Imagination Library offers free, new, age appropriate books in the mail each month from birth until they reach the age of five.
Reach Out and Read offers free, new, culturally and developmentally appropriate books for children during their well-child visits with medical providers from 6 months until the age of five.
Child Care Resource and Referral offers extensive services to families, including child care referrals, workshops, and information about quality care.
NC Pre-K funds the placement of at-risk, 4-year-olds into the public school program designed to prepare the children for success in kindergarten.
Sandhills Children's Center provides NC Pre-K Expansion funds for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families and Child Care Development Fund eligible families.
