Program Overview
The R9 ESC Adult Education and Literacy program provides classes for EL Civics (English Literacy; Government, Citizenship, Education and Workplace), English Language Acquisition also known as ESL, Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE), Preparation classes for GED® test, basic academic work readiness and life skills, and College and Career Readiness to eligible youth and adults who are beyond the age of compulsory school attendance and/or function below the secondary completion level.
