NCFC volunteers meet one-on-one and small group with parents or caregivers with children ages 0-5 to model play and parent/child time together. Some programs are in -home, some are at the City of Covington Housing Authority. Hours vary by family availability. Volunteers model parent/child together time with reading, music, fun and art. Every child gets a free book and toy with every visit.
As participation increases, we will provide more opportunities for parent training and literacy support.
Our vision is a community where all children are healthy, ready to go to school, motivated to succeed in school, and where strong families contribute to vibrant, robust communities that thrive
Hours of operation: varies by site, call for program information
Cost info: All NCFC programs are provided free of cost.
