Program Overview
NCP hosts community literacy events with celebrity readers, neighborhood family engagement parties, as well as ongoing book distributions.
NCP volunteers meet one-on-one and small group with parents or caregivers with children ages 0-5 to model play and parent/child time together. Meetings can be virtual.
Hours vary by family availability.
Volunteers model parent/child together time with reading, music, play, and art.
Every child gets a free book and toy with every visit.
