Program Overview
Reading Patch Literacy Foundation offers free reading support for children and their families. Our program is designed for beginning and struggling readers, as well as parents and caregivers who want to help their children learn to read with confidence. Families use simple, step-by-step reading lessons that are easy to follow at home. Parents and children learn together through guided video lessons, reading practice, and hands-on activities. Free lesson PDFs are available to all families. Optional low-cost materials, such as an online membership or printed workbook, are available but not required. The program is available online, so families can participate from anywhere and learn at their own pace.
Cost Info
All core literacy programming is provided at no cost. Families receive free access to the full reading lesson content through downloadable PDFs. Participation in the literacy program does not require any payment. Optional resources are available for families who choose them, including a low-cost online membership with additional materials for $7 and an optional printed workbook for $20. These materials are not required to participate and are not a barrier to accessing literacy instruction.Student and Volunteer Success Stories
We are having so much success with the 25 day program so far! We are on day 7, and my son loves it. He is a 5-year-old homeschooled kindergartener. Before it was like pulling teeth to get him to do his reading and within a minute he was in tears or saying his “mouth hurt" from trying to read. With this, he's excited to start and focused throughout the whole lesson. He is really reading the words and has so much confidence. We are very pleased with the program and thankful for it! It has definitely changed our lives! (Amy, Homeschool Mom)
