Student and Volunteer Success Stories

As a volunteer for Literacy and Hope, I can say that they have a great program. I have been working with a 12th grader since summer of last year and her progress is amazing. She didn't know her letter sounds when we started and now 7 months later she is reading sounding out 5 letter words. Her self esteem is better. We have developed a great relationship. She involves me in major things going on in her life. She just asked if I was going to drop her when she graduates and I said definitely not. It it a joy to see her progress.
