Program Overview

Read to Succeed is a free program that helps families with young children build home libraries and grow early reading skills. We give families culturally relevant, age appropriate books and learning materials so children can see themselves in the stories they read. Families can attend our events to receive books and learn ways to support reading at home. We may also offer other literacy programs for all ages with help from community partners. Programs take place at community locations across Ohio. Follow BCDI Ohio to learn about upcoming free events.

Cost Info

The majority of our programming is provided at no cost to participants to ensure accessibility for families and community members. Occasionally, programs led by external partners or specialized facilitators may carry a small fee. When this occurs, costs are shared transparently in advance, and efforts are made to keep programs affordable and inclusive.
