Program Overview

This program positions the library as a bridge during this critical transition period by engaging middle school students (approximately ages 11–14) and their caregivers together. Rather than relying on school partnerships or traditional class-based programming, Read, Think, Grow uses flexible, take-home and digital learning tools supported by facilitated library programming. This approach removes barriers related to transportation, scheduling, and language access while encouraging sustained family engagement with the library.
