Program Overview
OACES is the premier workforce preparation organization serving adults in Rochester, delivering a comprehensive range of in-demand career-related services to participants that focus on transition to employment, advanced training, and post-secondary education.
Each year, the program provides thousands of adults with integrated academic, career technical and world of work skills training and services needed to gain independence and secure quality, long-term employment.
OACES currently offers (7) short-term career training programs in "in-demand" occupations which are approved by the New York State Department of Labor (DOL) and Education Department (SED). The training programs include Automotive Technology, Building Maintenance, Carpentry, Certified Nurse Assist, Culinary Careers, Electrical, Printing & Promotions.
