Program Overview

Mission: The mission of the Randolph County Literacy Coalition is to provide literacy solutions to first time literacy learners, whether child or adult, through one-on-one volunteer tutoring sessions.
Who? Eligibility in this program is not limited. Simply request an enrollment in person at the Annie L. Awbrey Public Library.

What? This is a free public service, so there is no charge to enroll. In order to begin your enrollment, we will collect your
personal information along with your available times to be tutored. A preliminary test will help us determine your needs and allow us to match you with a tutor. Each tutor will use the Laubach Way to Reading set, which is a trusted source
in literacy education. This program is not in preparation for the GED exam.
