Program Overview

We are a volunteer organization, established in 1985, to help adults learn to read, write, and speak English in western Wayne County, MI. Students can join ESL conversation groups or book club, and eligible students can work with one-on-one tutors.

We welcome volunteers interested in tutoring to attend our comprehensive tutor training course to become certified and learn strategies to teach English.
