Program Overview
The Palacios Community Hub offers free literacy and learning programs for adults, children, and families in Palacios and nearby communities. Adults can get help learning English through ESL classes or prepare for their GED. Classes are small, welcoming, and designed to meet people where they are.
Children of participating adults can join literacy activities through our Books & Beyond program, where they receive books and take part in fun reading activities that build confidence and a love of learning.
Families also participate together through our Parents as Teachers program. Parents and children read, learn, and play together while parents learn simple ways to support learning at home.
Programs are offered at the Palacios Community Hub and through community outreach. All services are free, and no prior experience is needed. Families are welcome.
